Clean Access Update

The Office of Information Technology will update Clean Access wireless network authentication to version 4.1.3.2 on Thursday, June 5. This update includes support for multiple active network interfaces, 64-bit Windows operating systems, and updated antivirus software recognition.

Clean Access enforces operating system updates, antivirus presence, and antivirus definitions on Windows computers attaching to the University’s wireless network and residence hall network.

Users who already have Clean Access software on their computers will be prompted to download the new update; if the update is declined, access will be allowed through the previous version of the software and users will continue to be prompted to install the update each time they return to the network.

New users attaching to the wireless or residence hall networks will receive a prompt to install the new version of Clean Access upon attaching to the network.
